Character Description

​Interested in commissioning art of a character, but don't have an existing visual reference yet? No problem! The below information is what I typically request in these cases. As you will probably notice, a lot of these can be explained by a reference image, which I wholeheartedly encourage! Hex codes for colors are also encouraged as there is a lot of wiggle room in most colors and what I envision for green eyes or grey hair may be very different to what you imagine. 

 

This can be in the form of individual images, a Pinterest board, a mood board, or whatever tickles your fancy. The more references and information I have, the better I can blend your ideas together to make a piece that really exemplifies who your character is. Here is the information I will need:

  Basically, I want whatever you can give me to make this character come to life. For example, I want links to any references of the character if there are any available (heroforge minis work too!). Do you know characters that are similar to the character being drawn? I want links!  If there are certain aspects that are important please send me examples, because every scar is different  or armor comes in all sorts of styles. I also want exact colors if possible or a premade color palette to work with.  I love hex codes, but even something that I can use an eyedropper tool on would be appreciated. Screen calibrations are different, so the same color might look different on different displays and I also have a HUGE issue with telling the difference between blues and blacks. So best to just have a color picker that I can just pick 'em up, and drop 'em where they need to go.
